Mexican

Tonight we had Mexican food for dinner. It included burritos, salsa that was made by me. The burritos where good , but my complaint was that their was no meat in the burritos, and I do not like bean and cheese burritos. The salsa was very good. The dinner got a 6.7/10 rating.

Hambugers

Tonight we had hamburgers, french fries, and for dessert we had Beard Papas cream puffs. The burgers where excellent (note that I use the word excellent, a word that is used seldom on this blog). The meat was freshly ground from Bob's Market, and they where cooked perfectly. The french fries on the other hand where not as good, as my mom once again got the frozen variety instead of making her own from scratch. We also had root beer and cream soda made by Thomas Kemper the root beer was execellent but the cream soda was not as good, as it tasted a bit like carbonated cough syrup. Be sure eto check out their webite by clicking on the link, it is really cool. For dessert we had cream puffs from Papa Beards and as normal they where very good. Overall, the dinner, thanks to the bugers, got a 8.8/10 rating.

Lunch

Today for lunch I had Bay Cities bread with olive oil, burrata cheese, and sorano ham. It was very good and got a 8.5/10 rating.

Pizza

Tonight we had homemade pizza and salad for dinner. The pizza was cooked very nicely, but the salad was off the mark as my dad went off on one of his exotic salad dressing rampages. The dinner got a 7/10 rating.

Camping

Night 1:
Tonight we had beef and bison chili which was made by John. We also had corn bread which was made by Catriona, and she also made guacamole. The beans in the chile where a little undercooked, and the corn bread was too dry. For dessert we had clafouti made by Catriona, which was very good. The dinner got a 7.4/10 rating.

Night 2:
Tonight we had Mediterriean food for dinner. It included lamb patties wrapped in pitasdribbled with yogurt sauce, and a so-called salad that was not very good. The lamb patties on the other had where very good, and the dinner got 7.7/10 rating.

Morning 2:
This morning we had bacon and eggs for breakfast. The bacon was cooked on the BBQ, and as a result it was very good and smokey. I am not a very big fan of eggs, in fact I stated I hated them the night before, and this morning was no different, as my eggs where cold. The breakfast got a 8/10 rating thanks to the bacon.

Night 3:
Tonight we had meat and Caesar salad. The meats included tri-tip, Korean boneless ribs, and Hawaiian boneless beef ribs. My favorite type of meat was the Hawaiian  boneless, and my least favorite was the tri-tip. All the meat was made by Peter. The Caesar salad was also very good, and it was made by Beth. For dessert we had S'mores, and the one I made was really good, as I used one normal junky marshmallow, and one fancy chocolate marshmallow. The dinner got a 9/10 rating.

We Will Be Back

We have been out of commission at Sam's Food blog four about four months. This has been due to a lack of time. But we will be back on May 26th with a Sam's Food Blog long weekend special, showing highlights of the camping trip. Also, be sure to check out Sam's Blog, a blog that shows what Sam the Man himself is up to.
